How to Transfer
If you have already set up and funded your wallet, you are now ready to make your first transfer or purchase with your cryptocurrency. It does not matter if you want to send your funds to another wallet of your own, deposit your Bitcoins into a online Casino or buy a beer at your local pub, it all works the same easy way.
1) Go to your wallet
Depending on which wallet you use, they might look a little bit different, but every single one will have a “Send / Receive” – function of some sort, which will not be hard to find.
If you used our wallet-guide, you will have a Coinbase wallet which will look like this.
2) Insert the Recipient Wallet-address
You will be provided with a Recipient Wallet-address, this is the bank account you wish to transfer your funds too. When inserting this address, you need to be extremely careful and make sure there are no errors. A single error may make you lose your funds permanently.
A wallet address will look something like this, 17ov7LLUmqbniVa2BuiehNbRG9GNp1AM8Y, and many wallets will allow you to scan a QR-code as well.
Most wallets will provide a pre set maximum transaction fee. In some cases you will have to set your limits manually as the average transaction cost is always changing. We recommend you find out what the average is at the time if you are required to enter it manually.
3) Enter amount of BTC / ETH / Other Cryptocurrency you wish to send
No message or note is required. Hit Send Funds and the Recipient will have received the payment within minutes.
4) Withdrawing with debit card
If you wish to withdraw your Bitcoin to FIAT (£, $, € etc), CEX.io offers a debit card. You can withdraw your Bitcoin in any ATM. Visit their website to learn more!
